100WC Week #9 - Lucian

There was a restaurant that my family would go to, every fortnight. There was also a door at the back of the restaurant, people told rumors about that door. Everyone's ideas were dumb, I think it's just another way of getting into the kitchen or were they kept their food. I wondered what was behind the door all the time every time me and my family went to this restaurant. One day I saw a employee walk over towards the door. He looked around the room and opened the door. He opened the door wide open. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

  1. Hello Lucian,

Your ability to build your storyline demonstrates your growing skills in writing. You set the scene, your family routines and a mystery. Well done.

Your open ended story certainly set my mind wondering what was so surprising behind the restaurant door. If it were to continue, it could head in a number of directions. The open ended story can be a great way to engage your readers and have them hoping the story will continue. Again, well done.
