Special Prompt #5 - Morgan Bootten
One day Mum asked me to go and get the mail. When I opened the letterboxes there was a letter with my name on it I slowly teared it open, scared of what it will say. As I read the contents of the letter, I was aware of the smile on my face. I ran inside to tell mum the good news, but when I got inside I looked around I could not see Mum anywhere. “Mum, Mum “ I shouted. “Where are you?" All of a sudden I saw her and the smile on my face faded away...
