California, San Francisco a guy named Bill had saved a piece of rope. It wasn't any kind of rope it was a magic piece of rope, it gave you luck. So a stone artist decided that he would make a giant sculpture of it so that it can be remembered. They made it right in the middle of the city square. They come out of the ground because he came out of the water with the piece of rope. He had to go swimming to get it from the bottom of the ocean. he was a hero and they now symbolise his victory.
