100WC - Week #9 - Brooke


There was a blue one, pink one, green one, yellow one, but the orange one spoke first.
̈ Hallow ́s Eve, human being, ̈
 ̈ ̈Hallow´s eve,¨I responded cautiously.
  My family didn't celebrate Halloween, so a pumpkin talking was pretty weird to me.
 ̈ What's the matter human who can´t talk!¨the pink one shouted at me.
¨ummm why are you talking,¨I responded quietly.
¨Well dah, its Hallow´s Eve!¨the blue one exclaimed glaring at me.
I backed away and suddenly found myself lying in bed.
¨Thew!¨ it was just a dream I thought to myself.
¨Hallow´s Eve human being,¨I turned startled and found my brother standing at my door
 laughing.

    Hi Brooke,
    Great story! I don't celebrate Halloween either but I think a talking pumpkin would be weird to anyone! I really like the way you explained the talking pumpkins with the main characters brother at the end- that was very clever. Keep up the good work.
