The Letter
“Mum! Mum!
I got a letter from Aunty Lisa." I said, almost yelling.
“That's
great honey. What did she say.” my Mum said.
“I opened
the letter carefully.”
As I read
the contents of the letter, I was aware of the smile on my face.
"She wants to
be my pen pal” I say excitedly. “Can I?”
“Yes love
you can.”
This was
based on a really life story. Just a couple of weeks ago I received a
letter from my Aunty asking if i want to be her pen pal and of course I said
yes.
